Dear Alumni
Let me introduce myself to this before i start asking favours. By way of introduction, i am sushma, from IIT Madras, 2009 Batch. I was working in Dubai since 2012 and its unfortunate that i am unable to self sustain my self and this time i really need a lot of help. Let me explain my scenario so my request is justified
Current scenario i came on visit visa to dubai for a job and thankfully i got a job but i have my past dues from credit card companies which is a personal issue. So the point is i am unable to process my residence visa because these collection and legal department of credit card companies black listed me in immigration despite repeated negotiations with them several times. They filed a case after i came to Dubai which is very unfortunate. Well to lift that case, i have to make a payment of 4000 + dirhams which unfortunately i was not able to save despite working for 6 years in india and Dubai. So my personal request for the alumni is if some of you can come forward to help me come out of this issue in the next few hours or the next two days, i shall remain indebted. I am able to pay this back in 2 or 3 months times depending upon my management and hopefully i should be able to get back on track. Writing out this mail took a lot of thought today and i tried several of my friends but they were unable to fund so much because of their family, expenses, and other issues which as a person i can completely understand and empathize with. For me, this 4k is going to help a lot and i need to arrange this very urgently. it really feels good to tell this problem to all of you because it lessens my burden a lot just by sharing. In the worst case scenario, i should be stranded which i will still try to. But whatever is that, i will be thankful if you are able to help me with this issue because this was going on from long time and for me also its tough without a job to manage these guys. Under these circumstances for me it is very tough to handle and i wish alumni can do something about it.
Its a very genuine request as IIT alumni has helped me a lot in the past especially khawaja Ji, i am very much indebted to you in all the way as you have heard all of my problems with the same good heart and mind. I really respect you a lot sir.
Thanks every one for the patience and emails helps because i am really tired of making calls to people and explaining them the whole story again and again with very few understanding what is the issue about. I trust this mail finds all of you in the best of their health and happiness.
