Hopefully the last proposal

Hello! 

So we need to write one last 'short' proposal to Dean IAR for money! Lets just tabulate all our expenses because I believe we have crossed 80k.. Lets show them that we spent really a lot and we desperately need the money! Also let's highlight how brand IITM grew by networking as part of the symposium! Anyone has any suggestions?

Plus I feel that we should not take the 3lakhs given to us now, it just reduces out chances of getting anything later on.. Same thing happened with NYMUN people.. We shouldn't get fooled by the same thing! They had their money promised still they didn't get it, we don't even have anything promised.. It's highly unlikely we get anything! 

And we all know who will draft the final letter!

haan, but what if we dont end up getting the 3 lakhs also? There is a risk involved na! Shouldn't leave cash on the table, acc. to me.

They cannot take the 3lakhs from us... It was alloted to us, worst possible case is after putting fight for 1 month we still end up getting only 3 lakhs in all! We cannot lose money I feel.

haan, begging is not an issue, That we will :P I just dont want to end up with nothing. But, if you guys are so positive about it then let it be. @ Jithin: we ll be getting the 3l anyway, right?

Urvi see once allotted the money won't go anywhere..let's write a letter stating the procedure followed and the assurances given at every stage of the process.Let's say our understanding from OAR and past experience was that insti would cover at least half the costs and since our initial proposal clearly stated that our expenses would be around 80k the figure expected was around 40k. As per the last committee meeting only 23k per head has been allotted and we would implore the committee to provide additional funding of the tune of around 20k per head so as to reduce the burden on the students who made the decision of paying the entire costs based on good faith and trust in the OAR.

Sounds ok?
