@Jithin: The cheque you have, when is it valid till?

Also, I just spoke to my dad. See, whether we take the cheque they've already given or not, is not going to make a big difference to their decision. Anyways they'll only give us a cheque with additional cash and not make the present one void..

So, let's just en-cash the 3L cheque na? I'll be honest and blunt, I really need even that 23,000 at this moment..

In case they decide to give us more later, great for us, else we just consider it a loss and move on..

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Let's just take what we have for now and then continue with our efforts for more..

I dont agree with this now. Once we take it, even they know that they need not give us more. Lets give the letter and wait for little more time. We have waited for so long!
If we give up now, there are no chances that we are getting anything more!

Let's fix a date then. How long are we willing to wait for it?

We don't even submit the letter after nearly a month of the trip  and then hope to get more than what they've offered.

@Jithin: when's the next travel grant meeting?
