Regarding blacklisting USLS

Dear all

Recently, the USLS invitation mail from Janice Leong was circulated among IITM students. As a participant who knows that the symposium was more of a scam than a genuine learning experience, I felt as a graduating student it was my responsibility to get this across to IAR office. 

Mr Arvind Sivamani, who is the current OIR Liaison Officer has agreed to take this up and will be contacting all of you individually for your feedback. If all of us provide a negative feedback, the matter can be taken up with Prof Nagrajan and future mails from USLS will not be circulated.

I know most of you have graduated and have no stake in this but I will be extremely grateful if you could take some time out and reply to Mr Sivamani's mails. This will compel OIR to proactively check the credibility of such symposiums before forwarding mails in the future.
