  • Good understanding of Software Engineering and Development Cycle
  • Algorithmic thinking
  • Proficient in at least any one of the Programming Languages ( C/ C++ / Java / DOTNET / Any of the Scripting Languages)
  • Basic Knowledge of Databases
  • Good Communication Skills

Refresh your fundamentals on the following topics:

  • C / C++ /Any of the programming language like JAVA/.net etc
  • SDLC
  • Database Knowledge(RDBMS Concepts /SQL /PLSQL)
  • Any 2 su­bjects of their choice in CS/IT or where they can answer fluently
  • Comprehend the question thoroughly and answer to the point (paper work is allowed)
  • Know-how of KPIT and why do you want to be a KPITian?
  • Effective communication skills is mandatory

 

Aptitude test and Technical tests will take place at SVCE, Indore campus on Tuesday, 5th April 2016: 8 AM

  • Aptitude test – 25 marks 30 mins (elimination round) (Online test)
  • Technical test – 25 marks 30  mins (elimination round) (Online test)
  • Personal Interview (1-2-3 rounds as applicable)

Offer letter will be given on the spot for final selected students.

 

A note for the students to get prepared for the selection day
  

  • Each one of the candidates to carry a copy of their bio-data in standard format as adopted by the college with as much technical details of mini projects, external works, paper publications, technical activities, extra- curricular activities as possible.
  • Carry reports of any technical work carried out (Mini Projects etc)

 

Stages of Selection

  • Analytical ability and English Language Test (Multiple Choice)
  • Technical Test (Multiple Choices)
  • Technical Interview (Face to Face)
  • HR Interview (Face to Face)

Guidelines to Candidates

  • Exhibit energy and ability to communicate well with the Panel
  • Bring along with you any of the project work that you have done in the recent past to support your candidature.
  • Use Pen and Paper to put forth your ideas and answer the questions asked
  • You can ask the Panel to elaborate the question if you haven’t understood
  • Dress up professionally to present yourself to the Panel in a nice way.
  • Exhibit what you have been able to learn on your own, beyond what is taught in the class.

Things to carry with them at the time of Interview:

  • Carry a copy of your resume in standard format as adopted by the college emphasizing on with 2 passport Size photograph:
  • Technical details of mini projects
  • Internships (If any)
  • Paper publications
  • Technical activities
  • Patents filed (if any)
  • Extra-curricular activities
  • Carry reports of any technical work carried out (Mini Projects etc)
