Hassan has left a new comment on your post "Int'l Indian School Fee hike - Parents
appeal to t...":
Dears,
The possibilities are that willingly or unwillingly we will end up paying the increased fees. So why not the leaders make an attempt to approach the decision makers to implement what they have offered?
We should intensify the foolow up for constituting PTA and MC at the earliest so that we parents can communicate more effectively.
Accountability is a must otherwise we will end up paying but nothing will come in return.

This email group is created by www.IISJParents.blogspot.com team to communicate with all International Indian School Parents.
Parents' concerns of non transparency in school accounts, absence of proper MC & PTA, unilateral decision of imposing exorbitant fee-hike, etc.. are submitted to Principal via memorandum on 25 April 2011. We are confident that, the concerned authorities are prudent to listen to Parents Voice.

Dear Mr. Farooq Sab,
Noted your valuable comments. I believe it would be our final asylum to seek the help of supreme court in India. Anyway, let us wait how the parents here in Jeddah are responding to this fee-hike. We have seen a lot of organizations, whom were in media before with this subject are going back to their shed deserting the parents in dismay. Yesterday I have noted a report in the newspaper that our CG is also helpless in fee hike issue since the consulate is separated from school. What a pathetic situation of Indian ! The Ambassador is also saying that he is not the responsible for this fee hike. .. So who is behind this fee hike. .. Do you believe the School is going to execute any of their promises in pretext of this fee hike.
Today morning some of our representatives met the Consul General of India, whose report will be posted by them soon. We are working to get a result.
Regards Abdullah.C |

Dear All,
Glad to cogratulate the delegation team and all the members who are finding time to congratulate and appreciate the efforts.
I also inform our groups sincere thanks to Mr. Kassim Irikoor and MR.Mayinkutty for giving special importance by giving a good coverate in their dailies on proper time, I mean on the immediate day.
Also it increases our happiness to see the clap backs from our members like
Mr.Anil Narayan, Mr.Ahmed Koya P.V., Mr.Muralidharan, Mr.Ahmed Hussain, Mr.Saleem, Mr.Ishteyaq Ahmed, MR.Abdul Basheer and so on.
Specially noted the criticised comment of Mr.Suneerkt regarding a few posting from some of our members supporting the fee hike, it seems as he is right.
Requesting all to enroll maximum members to our group to have maximum numbers to be with us for MAY BOYCOT
bye the bye ,
Due to the submission of our referred complaint regarding fee hike during the parent teacher meeting on last Thursday 5th May 2011, I was called by IISJ principal and have meeting on tue 10/5.
He opened the session saying that he has to inform me some clarification regarding the fee hike and added that there was no other option left except the fee hike or the cancellation of Higher secondary classes. As per him, while new teachers are not ready to come IISJ even at 3000 per month, some experienced and good teachers are shifting from our school to other schools or even to India because they are getting better salaries in other schools. He exampled some qualified teachers namely one Hanefa from kerala who are planning to go back to re join in India. If such posts are not filled by similar qualified or experts, it may affect the standard of our school.
I have opened the subject of the requirement of parents teachers body, an elected governing body, and the necessity of having control for Jeddah consulate on IISJ for which he skipped by saying that they are the diplomatic issues for which he is un able to answer. But I have told to him that it is his duty to inform the higher authority regarding the parents concern on this subject.
Also he have added that the expenses of the school is doubled like the girls schools leasing charge and they have compelled to hire building for our kg section. I tried to counter this by saying the total number students 11200 revenue may over come all these expenses. I told him that as I do not have idea of the total staff, teaching and ministerial, if given I can show the calculation for which he responded that this can be done by the accounts department. (recommend to have good calculator during next visit.
For my issue regarding the weak language usage of the students of IISJ, he told that the management and teachers are trying their best by issuing circulars, or by advising the students etc. , the students switch to their local languages once they reach the ground or buses.
