Settings for speedometer

Does anyone recall the calibrating setting for an odometer for a cycle with 700c tires? The default is 2160. Is that correct? 

This is for the standard cheap Decathlon btwin speedometer which actually works.

Did you figure this out? The 'number' is usually just the
circumference in cm or mm and depends on the tire width as well.
Instead of worrying too much, just set an initial number and calibrate
based on actual riding (using GPS distance over long straight lines).

I had to do this recently (battery on speedo died), and here is the

Hi 

Thanks - my tires are 700c x 32 so  Sheldon Brown says its 2155. The default is 2160, so I wont bother changing. I'll live with the error. I had sort of forgotten about this as I've not been cycling recently.
