The highly unethical,high-handed and inhuman behaviour of the Bruhat bengaluru mahanagara palike - is this to facilitate FDI in RETAIL by stealth?

The poor hawkers earn their daily bread by selling low-end products,
in the process making a very meager amount unlike the BIG STORES who
fleece the consumers by a "SCIENTIFICALLY CALCULATED MARGIN" of high
proportions. The FOOLISH and SELFISH CONSUMERS who go to MALLS "SHUT
UP" and PAY whatever the PRICE TAG SAYS ..BUT, ARGUE, ABUSE and
NEGOTIATE HARD with STREET VENDORS!
Now, in a move which appears to involve a collusion between the MALLS,
MID-SIZED SHOPS and possibly the GOVT(BBMP cannot issue such orders
without Govt acquiescence), the STREET HAWKERS have been evicted from
the BUSY GANDHIBAZAAR and other places under the guise of RULES! It
is also strange as there is no festival in the offing!
Could it be a precursor to push FDI in RETAIL by stealth? OR is it to
facilitate some small section to make a quick buck as the DEMAND WOULD
NEVER REDUCE..it ONLY SHIFTS to other sources!
the consumers should be educated abt not buying till the Govt restores
the status quo ante!
Unfortunately, there exists no ORGANISED PLATFORM to PROTEST! the
people should get behind the Hawkers! The BJP CENTRAL
LEADERSHIP should be sensitised abt his matter!
