this party seriously has BRAINS....albeit MANY a TIME a PERVERSE ONE.
REAL POLITIKS at best.....Unfortunately, such REAL POLITICKING is
used very sparingly FOR INDIAN INTERESTS - The Kashmir Movement, the
Dravidian movement and the North-East problems can be DILUTED if such
policies are used!
I would certainly vote for the Congress if such measures are adopted
for INDIA's Strategic Interests!
CHANAKYA would be both SAD and HAPPY - SAD as NATIONAL INTERESTS are
undermined for POLITICAL INTERESTS and HAPPY seeing the METHODS
employed!

If challenged in Court on the minority issue , the whole BILL "would
possibly" be struck down citing ULTRA VIRES - WHO wuld challenge this
in court? BJP explicitly wuld not - UP elections. Some citizen with
NO ELECTORAL BAGGAGE has to challenge this in court - Probably Dr
Subrahmanian Swamy again!
Hence, the Govt can remain Teflon quoted by pointing
at the Judiciary.

2. The beginning of the end of the Lokpal - Focus shifted from the
CBI towards Reservation
3. Opposition divided!

Its like that the ARROW POINTING towards the ENEMY has suddenly turned
the OTHER WAY and hence, THE ARROW CANNOT BE RELEASED!
In all fairness, It has STILL to be SEEN how the RESPONSE is contrived
by the BJP - But, the WHOLE EPISODE would be REAL FUN if viewed
DISPASSIONATELY!
Reservations have become a PERPETUAL REALITY to be MAINTAINED TILL
ETERNITY similar to POVERTY! In contemporary debates, NOBODY "CAN"
TALK against RESERVATIONS per se - this was an ideal occasion to do so
- One would find even find an ALLY in Dr Ambedkar in a BROAD SENSE!
Once instituted, cannot be removed!
Hence, CASTE and RELIGIOUS IDENTITY should be abrogated/relegated
vis-a-vis the INDIAN IDENTITY only in THEORY ..but, CELEBRATED and
SHARPENED for ELECTORAL POLITICS - The UP ELECTORAL Dynamics which is
unraveling is a case in point!
