Hi friends,

We are doing a project on Speaker Verification in noisy environments for mobile phone based applications at IISc. For this we need to build a database of speech samples. So we, as your friends request you to contribute to our database by calling a toll free number and recording your voice.

Your name will be put up on IISc website as a contributor to this database.

Please find attached a word file (database_details_example.doc) indicating the steps in the process. We suggest you read the file before you call.You will find the TOLL-FREE Number in the word file.

Also find attached an example audio file (Recordings.rar) , which will give you an idea of how to go about the process.

We will be highly grateful to you and please do pass this information onto others also.

PS : Since a large number of people would be calling in, you may find the line to be busy. Please do call back and record after some time.

        Feel free to call anytime from anywhere, the system will be in running state all day. We insist you to call from noisy places outside your room or house so that we can collect realistic data.

To All those who have registered and finished the recording process, we are highly grateful to you. If time permits, please do call again from a different environment.
