GE Global Research is looking for interns/fixed-time-hires interested in the fields of biomedical image/signal processing and analysis.
The projects would be in the following areas:
i) CT image reconstruction and analysis
ii) Early assessment of diseases such as cancer, Alzheimer’s and multiple sclerosis using medical image/signal analysis.
iii) Non-rigid registration of images from different modalities
iv) De-noising of medical images
v) De-noising of medical images
vi) Fetal and Cardiac Ultrasound image analysis
vii) Data visualization and computer graphics
Qualification/Requirements:
· Recent graduates or students pursuing Doctorate/Masters/Bachelor degree in engineering (Biomedical, Computer, Electronics, Electrical) or other relevant field from a reputed institute.
· In-depth understanding of image/signal processing concepts
· Excellent programming skills in C/C++ or python
· Strong communication skills in a global environment
· Excellent analytical and abstraction skills
· Demonstrated problem solving skills and teamwork skills
Desired Characteristics:
· Experience with multi-dimensional signal processing algorithms
· Experience with ITK, VTK and OpenCV
· Doctoral students are expected to have credible publication history
