Agenda for the IISc Freethinkers group

Friends,

We are planning a Rationalist event at IISc on 16th Jan, jointly organized by us & Nirmukta.com. We are expecting Narendra Nayak, & few other distinguished speakers to lecture us. But all this is impossible without your support. We look forward to your co-operation/ suggestions in following-

1. We need student's council help to allow us a place to schedule the event, preferably Choksi hall.
2. Are there faculty members willing to accompany/assist us? We'll be highly grateful.
3. Is it possible to get us some official patronage, for eg. from Center for Contemporary Studies?
   
4. We need ideas & design of posters for our outreach. (CPDM guys?)
5. We plan to display elegant posters in our campus, & in sister institutes like NIAS, JNCASR, NCBS, TIFR, etc. They are welcome to join us if they are willing to participate.

I request to please do your bit in this regard. Let's meet on 5th Jan, at 9 p.m. in front of New Hostel Blocks, IISc. Bring your family & friends too :)

Other things,

1. Please refrain from making poster too provocative & anti some -isms. Extra marks for elegance :)
2. Write lucid & concise posts/replies in Facebook/GoogleGroup. Make sure to read what others have written too. And don't just add links.
   

And again, feel free to suggest anything. Remember we're 'freethinkers' :)
