Ice Conditions

All:
Pete Weber is out checking on the ice depths and has measured ice at these lakes.

At East Rush Lake  9" to 11".

Pokegama Lake near Pine City  9" to 10".

Both lakes have about an inch of snow on them.

We are assuming that South Lindstrom will be the same in depth. And the area given for our event has no snow on it.

Will be monitoring the ice off and on throughout the upcoming weeks. Will give you up dates as we do measurements.

Pete Weber took a road trip yesterday to Big Sandy Lake north of McGregor  and to Big Lake near Cloquet.

At Big Sandy the ice depth is to 11 to 14 inches near the location of last weekend's

motorcycle/ATV race.

Big Lake the ice thickness is 11 to 13 inches.

With the weather that we are having we are uncertain if ice thickness will be  lost or gained. Will be monitoring ice for the next few days to find out.
