All,

The event scheduled for January 11 has been cancelled due to not enough ice thickness. We are very close to the target of 16-18" but not quite close enough to safely make the call to have an event.

We are now planning on the January 18 event being the first event of the year. Ice thickness and conditions are still being closely monitored on several lakes. Rush Lake or Pokegama are the two strong possibilities for the January 18 event.

We will send another update when more details start to firm up. Overall the ice is looking good for early January. Looking forward to a great season!
