2nd National Alan Turing Computer Science Quiz 2014
Computer Society of India (http://www.csi-india.org) and Persistent Systems Ltd. (http://www.persistentsys.com) are happy to launch the Alan Turing Computer Science Quiz 2014, the 2nd National CSI Student Branch Quiz exclusively for CSI student members.
This initiative is yet another CSI venture for the benefit of the student community. The quiz was launched last year as Alan Turing Quiz to commemorate the Birth centenary of this great father of Computer Science. Each CSI Student Branch Counsellor (SBC) can nominate teams of 2 students each for the quiz which will be based on Engineering & Computer Science. Any number of teams can be nominated from each institution. However, the team qualifying on Top from among teams of an institution will be chosen if there is a tie after the 2nd round (i.e., only one team per institution can travel for
the National finals).
The first 2 rounds of this quiz are online. The top 6 teams at the end of the 2nd round will be invited for the National Finals which will be a stage round hosted by a top quiz master at Chennai.
Attractive Cash Prizes for Winners (1st Prize : Rs.15,000/-; 2nd Prize : Rs.10,000/- & 3rd Prize : Rs. 5,000/-)
Selected contestants will be provided travel support by CSI for the National finals. They will also be provided with accommodation and local hospitality.

Last date of Registration: 13th March, 2014
1st Online Round: 14th March, 2014
2nd Online Round: 19th March, 2014
National Finals: 29th March 2014 at Chennai
