Dear students,
The 40th year of IIPM has been a landmark year for your institution. The Supreme Court of India quashed AICTE's powers over all management institutes in India. Consequently, IIPM won its cases against AICTE in the Honorable Delhi High Court which reiterated that management education doesn't come under the purview of AICTE. These landmark judgements in your institute's favour have given back to IIPM the right to impart Diploma programmes -- something that IIPM had stopped from 1998 onwards!
Thus, from 2014 admissions, IIPM and its affiliate programmes from ISBE/IIMM are no more leading to the award of certificates; there will also not be any university association for the award of university degrees. From 2014 onwards, students of IIPM/ISBE/IIMM will get a Post Graduate Diploma in Planning and Entrepreneurship, Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management respectively, depending upon how many credits are cleared by the student. After getting the best of education at your institution, these diplomas are what would give the final thrust to students in their pursuit of fantastic careers. The fact that your institute was not awarding diplomas earlier was in fact a reason why, despite knowing about the superiority of our programmes, some of your friends might have joined other institutions. A PGDM is a norm worldwide for all private B-schools. In India, it is IIPM which fought for the same and got this right.
It's a time for all of us to rejoice. In the spirit of our achievements, after giving massive scholarships as a part of our 40th year celebrations to hundreds of students and introducing special girl-student scholarships, your institute is pleased to announce another extremely special offer for all our current IIPM students and alumni to enable them to upgrade from the present award of certificates to PG Diplomas at an extremely reduced fees.
While students who take admission from 2014 onwards in the IIPM PG Diploma programme would need to pay an increased fee of INR 1.75 lac, we are pleased to upgrade your current IIPM certificate programme to the IIPM PG Diploma at a special fees of INR 1.25 lac.
However, this offer lasts only till the 21st of October 2013, post which all students wanting to upgrade their certification to a PG Diploma will have to pay the full amounts instead of the reduced fees. We strongly recommend that students and alumni upgrade to the Post Graduate Diploma instead of continuing in the IIPM certificate. If it was left to us, we would have made this upgrade mandatory as this will surely be a great boost to your career in the long run.
Therefore, we once again strongly recommend and insist that all students having obtained or getting any kind of credential from IIPM, now onwards must opt for our PG Diploma instead of the certificate. This will necessarily be an added boon for the future career growth of every student and alumni.
