F**k off IIPM ,,They are fraud , the diploma and degree they gave us all fake man, I tried to get the IIPM Degree and diploma assessed from International bodies and they didn't assess my degree and diploma,, IMI Belgium is not authorised to give PG degrees ,,, We have wasted our time and money for nothing,,,, To hell with their diploma ,,That diploma is also crap,,,no need to give them money for another fake document.

Group: IIPM Subject: Announcement from IIPM Dear students, The 40th year of IIPM has been a landmark year for your institution. The Supreme Court of India quashed AICTE's powers over all management institutes in India. Consequently, IIPM won its cases against AICTE in the Honorable Delhi High Court which reiterated that management education doesn't come under the purview of AICTE. These landmark judgements in your institute's favour have given back to IIPM the right to impart Diploma programmes -- something that IIPM had stopped from 1998 onwards! Thus, from 2014 admissions, the IIPM programme is no more leading to the award of certificates; there will also not be any university association for the award of university degrees. From 2014 onwards, IIPM students will again get a Post Graduate Diploma in Planning and Entrepreneurship, Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management respectively, depending upon how many credits are cleared by the student. After getting the best of education at IIPM, this is what would give the final thrust to IIPM students in their pursuit of fantastic careers. The fact that your institute was not awarding diplomas earlier was in fact a reason why, despite knowing the superiority of IIPM programmes, some of your friends might have joined other institutions. A PGDM is a norm worldwide for all private B-schools. In India, it is IIPM which fought for the same and got this right. It's a time for all of us to rejoice. In the spirit of our achievements, after giving massive scholarships as a part of our 40th year celebrations to hundreds of students and introducing special girl-student scholarships, your institute is pleased to announce another extremely special offer for all our students who have joined IIPM till 2013, including our alumni, to enable them to upgrade from the present award of IIPM certificates to the IIPM PG Diploma. While students who take admission from 2014 onwards in the IIPM PG Diploma programme would need to pay an increased fee of INR 1.75 lac, we are pleased to upgrade your current IIPM certificate programme to the IIPM PG Diploma at a special fees of INR 1.25 lac. However, this offer lasts only till the 21st of October 2013, post which all students wanting to upgrade their certification to the IIPM PG Diploma will have to pay an additional INR 1.75 lac only. We strongly recommend that students upgrade to the IIPM Post Graduate Diploma instead of continuing in the IIPM certificate programme. what should i say to my family and employer ???  that the earlier degree is not valid, now take this. unnecessarily i will put myself in trouble because of this. 

i agree with deepak, its been already 5 years we are out, degree wont matter any more. 

and if at all if we pay and get this degree, again after 2 years they will again come back and say now we have partnered with some bullshit university , you pay again 2 lakh and get this. i know they will do these things on alumni. that's why i was never part of any alumni forum.

@Sachin: Don't worry nothing gone..Anywayz IIPM didn't gave us jobs. We got our own jobs and now 7+ years gone. Maybe just update your resume as PGDBM or something and don't mention the institute name. Anyways no company is bothered. Njoy the new youtube song on IIPM ridicule..Its funny..:)

It's been long time but hope all of you are fine.......

Deepak you dragged me in to this discussion .........I am updated with all your emails and apprehensions... However my thoughts are little different ......  I am having a great respect for IIPM  which can never be changed ..... Whatever I am today IIPM has lots to do with it.....however when it comes to Arindam, I have zero sympathy for him not because he cheated us but for the very reason that he never bothered to take a single class during my 2 years programme at IIPM .....he never had time to interact with his students but always available as a Business Guru to thousands of so called management persons, media etc, etc. and today there is a ample time to count the chickens but sorry to find that all of them are hatched already .......

I think it was a great institute but spoiled because of its show off and limited focus to quality education and attitude of some great human beings...... 

But when it's comes to degree I am proud to say that I have both MBA and PGDBM from IIPM and its affiliated institutes......I am least bothered about any validity .... After a 7 years post qualification experience I know what I am and my organisation knows my contribution......

Every corner you will find 1000s of IIPM with the simple distinction that it is yet to be a discussion point in Arnab Goswami"s News Hour.......

Please just think for a moment that WE ARE A PART OF THIS VERY INSTITUTE WHICH PRODUCED THOUSANDS OF TALENTED PERSONALITIES SERVING BEST OF THE ORGANISTIONS IN INDIA AND ABROAD 

We will always be recognised by our work rather than validity of the degree......

Trust me nobody till today has ever seen my degree ..............

Anyways forget these things and enjoy with your new Toyota Corolla ........

Good see we are still connected on this email group ..

I am least bothered about the degree.. but the piece of paper of which we spent our life will worth no value..which is wrong.. if he govt says old degrees are still valid .. then it fine.. else it is a shame on us as we were students of the college ..

Our years spent should be worth if have studied from the institute and cannot be nullified, it will impact our careers as we cannot count the degree which we did going forward. In case you want yourself to call a management grad.. you have to study again and get the same degree ..
