Sub      :           Request for taking action :- Releasing our pending salaries & provident fund from IIPM

 

Respected Sir,

 

This letter is to give a plea against our previous employer IIPM at 145, Marshall road, Egmore Chennai 600 008 (Head office located at Delhi). We are few employees from IIPM who have left the jobs. And our pending dues from IIPM are still pending.

 

We have been given cheques and it is not yet honoured. Few have deposited and few have not because our head office is located at Delhi, from the accounts department they have called few staffs and informed them not to do it. There are no funds in the account, therefore they have asked us not to present the cheque.

 

As per the latest decisions of RBI the cheque is valid only for three months. The expiry of the cheques is at hand for few and expired for few but till now we have not got any communications from IIPM to deposit the cheques.

 

As per Indian Law we cannot file a group case for cheque bounce. That means we have to file an individual case. As per one of my lawyer’s advice he told me that we cannot file a case for cheque bounce in another region (as per latest Supreme court order) hence if we file a case at Chennai and later after few proceedings we will come to know that we have to file at Delhi.

 

Hence we will not be in a position to travel now and then to Delhi for the proceedings of the court, which will make even more expensive for everyone (apart from lawyers expense).

 

Kindly take necessary actions and ask them to pay the pending dues in the form of DD or Pay order in our favour.
