Sorry, took a few days to share this. Appreciate if you could introduce to other alumni network leads as you shared earlier.

I would like to introduce you to the group of JPIN & Venture Catalysts who aim to build the first most credible platform of Angels to invest between the UK & India corridor on highly curated deals for sophisticated investors, UHNIs & Family offices.

Venture Catalysts Group is India’s Biggest and One of Asia’s Top 5 Investment Incubators (please see attached brochure) that has appeared in Times of India and other independent media houses as India’s No.1 investor into early stage investments. In less then 3 years since its inception it has done over 100+ deals in the market, invested $100Mn+ and have had several successful exits. It is the the biggest community of over 4000+ HNIs in the network. The MD of Venture Catalyst, Dr. Apoorv Sharma is known as 'Father of Incubation' in India. He is also known as 'Fund Manager with Highest Returns'. He is one of the top 10 angel investors in India, rated by VCCircle 2016. Over last two decades; he has curated, incubated & led seed investment of 100+ startups with some of them now a UNICORN, such as OYO rooms.

Some of the prominent investors with Venture Catalyst include Damani group, Enam Group, Haldiram family, Google MD India to name a few. As we are beginning this chapter of Venture Catalyst in the UK, we are looking to create an exclusive platform of 500+ HNIs who will be shown these highly curated deals regularly in UK. These companies will be from both India and UK and generally companies that have already close more then 60-70% of their funding round and are looking for final top up and some international investors.

What we need from alumni networks:

We are looking to do events for alumni networks, especially B-School and engineering, among several others, given they are typically at the forefront of India-UK startup ecosystem and avid investors, I feel doing an event on 25th, 26th or 27th March would be a great activity as part of the launch week. We will be doing a recurring monthly event so investors get a good spectrum of startups that Venture Catalysts is co-investing. Startups will be coming from India and UK to present.

We have a space for upto 30 people on 25th and 27th. Higher on other days, but will be clubbed with other non-IIT angels then.
