Hi, all PC-amateurs !

I have one question to those, who know.
Everybody's seen the leds on the panel of sound card's mixer,
which are now ascending now descending according to the volume of the input
signal (mic or line in).
The question is -
Is it possible to messure the amplitude of the input (AC, definite frequency) signal by SB.
If anybody knows how to do this - send me anything : advices, pieces of code
(Asm,Pascal,Delphi,C++),any docs or links on that theme.

Thanks

i downloded a shareware package that used the soundcard as an input for
a
PC based CRO. went to 1Mhz or something, so yep, its definately
possible. it had input specks that you should not exeed lest you cook
the card, in the mV range.ive deleted it since but its shouldnt be too
hard to find.

good luck,
evan.
