Vertex Administrator - Melville, NY

Job Description:-

* 3+ years experience administering Vertex O Series 6.x is required
* Experience with Vertex O Series 7.x is a plus
* 3+ years functional support experience - working directly with Tax and Finance professionals
* At least one year experience supporting Vertex Tax links for Consumer Use Tax
* Familiarity with Oracle Financials AP and PO is a plus
* Familiarity with XML and SoapUI
* Demonstrated ability to extract a tax request and process the request outside the Transaction Tester and diagnose any issues
* Ability to write simple SQL queries for Oracle
* Familiarity with SQL Developer or TOAD Familiarity with and experience supporting Vertex Returns
* Good understanding of the relationship between Indirect Tax O Series and Returns
* Cognos administration and reporting experience for VRA
