Design Community Group Call on 10/13/22

Hello everyone,

 

The Design Community Group, formerly known as Discovery for Humans (D4H), will have its next community call on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 8 am San Francisco | 11 am New York | 4 pm London | 5 pm Rome.

 

This month, Mat Jordan from Northwestern University will be presenting on digital collection front ends and the creation of more modular IIIF viewing tools such as Clover (a Manifest items tool), Bloom (a Collection items tool), and Nectar (a IIIF descriptive property primitive library) that extend the idea of a client and viewer.

 

The Design group is also interested in hearing from other IIIF community members who have been working on or studying the design, user experience, and user reception of IIIF tools. If you would like to find out more about presenting your work in a call, let us know in the IIIF Slack channel #design.
