Glycerine - Viewer Update

Hi All,

We are delighted to announce a significant update to our open-source Glycerine viewer.  Glycerine Viewer has an elegant interface, supports the IIIF Presentation API and provides a comprehensive annotation feature set.  Since our initial release at the start of June we’ve introduced a range of new features:

  • support for IIIF version 2 as well as version 3,
  • a range of index and structure features to support to manuscripts, codices,
  • handling for manifests with a large number of images.

We support manifests and compliant annotations built with other tools.  You can just paste in your manifest at Try Viewer – Glycerine.  Really looking forward to feedback from the community.  To download, implement and integrate go to Glycerine Viewer on GitHub.
