Presentation (in French) of the Omeka S & IIIF handbook on October 3 at 11 a.m. (Paris time)

Hi,

A working group from the French-speaking Omeka community has produced
a handbook for Omeka S and IIIF, which is currently a work in progress
and is written in French.

It will be presented (in French) on Friday 3 October from 11am to
12pm (Paris time).

This will be a group presentation providing an opportunity for direct
discussion with interested users.

The handbook is intended to serve as both a general introduction to
using IIIF with Omeka software and a practical guide that gradually
covers increasingly advanced uses. The second part, entitled 'Case
studies/Feedback', contains more detailed use cases, recipes and
configuration suggestions for certain complex modules or tools.

The handbook presents the current state of knowledge and observations
on the main features and modules related to IIIF, without prejudging
their particular developments or adaptations. The working group's
mission is to regularly update this guide in line with new
developments.

This version, dated 9 July 2025, therefore offers an initial overview
which we hope will be useful in its current form.
