Announcing serverless-iiif v6.0

Hello IIIF Community,

 

I’m pleased to announce version 6.0 of serverless-iiif, a new major release of our IIIF Image API v2.1 and 3.0 compliant serverless application. Notable updates include:

 

• Auto-rotation of source images based on EXIF Orientation metadata
• An improved build and packaging system that simplifies deployment and helps ensure the quality and reliability of included dependencies
• A complete TypeScript refactor of both serverless-iiif and the iiif-processor node module that provides the request interpretation and image processing
• Bugfixes and dependency updates
