Hello everyone, apologies for the late notice:

The IIIF Design Community Group will have its community call today on Thursday, November 17tth, 2022 at 8 am San Francisco | 11 am New York | 4 pm London | 5 pm Rome.

This month, Rino Ferrante (Principal Investigator) will discuss the Illuminated Dante Project (https://www.dante.unina.it/). The project aims to provide a systematic survey and an accurate description of early illustrations of Dante’s Divine Comedy. By the creation of both a high-definition image archive archive and a database of the earliest illustrations of the Divine Comedy, presented in a user-friendly architecture, IDP adds an indispensable research and knowledge tool to the already existing online academic resources on Dante’s world.

The Design group is always interested in hearing from other IIIF community members who have been working on or studying the design, user experience, and user reception of IIIF tools. If you would like to find out more about presenting your work in a call, let us know in the IIIF Slack channel #design.
