Hello all! Registration is now open for the International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) Annual Conference and Showcase, taking place June 2-5, 2025 in Leeds, UK. The event will be jointly hosted by the University of Leeds and the IIIF Consortium.
The IIIF Showcase (June 2) is free to attend and aimed at newcomers to IIIF and locals. Pre-registration is required and space is limited to the first 200 registrants. Attendees will receive an introduction to IIIF, including an overview of what it does, use cases, and how a wide variety of institutions implement it. Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend a free 60-minute workshop, “Hands-on IIIF for Beginners,” led by the team at Digirati.
The IIIF Annual Conference (June 3-4) and Workshops, Birds of a Feather & Tours (June 5) are intended for a wide range of participants and interested parties, including digital image repository managers, content curators, software developers, scholars, and administrators at libraries, museums, cultural heritage institutions, software firms, and other organizations working with digital images and audio/visual materials.
Discounted tickets are available to IIIF Consortium members. Participants may register for all workshops and tours now, and space is limited. Registration will close on May 16, 2025.
