Good morning,

I have this small PoC project related to Railways maps from the 19th century which we would like to identify objects, texts asnd georeferences.

The goal is to make the digitized maps IIIF compliant via Internet archive, applied annotations and georeferences and then displayed on the internet (we thouth using Omeka)

I have been lookingat NavPlace, Allmaps, and others to understand what kind of tools are available.

In this sense, I am looking for an advice on how to start and where to start working with maps. If there is a simple recipe anyone can point to me, it would be great.
