Tuition Fellowships

The International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) Consortium is again partnering with the Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI) in Victoria, B.C. to offer five tuition fellowships for the Introduction to "IIIF: Sharing, Consuming, and Annotating the World’s Images" workshop, to be held June 8th to 12th (Week 2) at DHSI 2020. The 5 tuition fellowships will cover tuition at DHSI but not travel or or lodgings. The deadline for applications is Tuesday, February 11, 2020 and applicants will be notified of their status no later than February 21st, 2020.

IIIF DHSI Workshop (June 8th to 12th (Week 2) at DHSI 2020)

3 IIIF Community members and myself are volunteering to lead a 5 day workshop introducing IIIF. Topics covered include setting up an image server, creating presentation manifests and more advanced topics like annotations and working with machine learning examples. 

If you are interested in attending the IIIF Workshop please register soon as places are filling up. Also if you work for a IIIF Consortium member Institution please get in contact as we have codes that will give you a discount on the registration cost but this will only apply if you register before the 1st of April.
