We may inform that the National Building Code Sectional Committee,
CED 46 of BIS has decided to introduce a new Chapter to the National
Building Code of India 2005 (NBC 2005) on sustainability, as NBC 2005:
Part 11 Approach to Sustainability.
We are now glad to inform you that after lot of deliberations and
contribution by various experts, a draft has been prepared which is being
issued for public comments, in the form of Draft Amendment No. 1 to NBC
2005. Accordingly, you may please find attached the following
