It is now time for Session 09 of  �Chai Coffee and Architecture�

Session 09 : 26th April 2013, Friday  at 5:30 PM, at New Committee Room, Planning Building, SPA.

This time we screen the film " ROTI KAPDA aur ARCHITECTURE " directed by Prof I M Chishti.

About the film : ROTI KAPDA aur ARCHITECTURE

First in the series on man-made environment, this film attempts to raise the level of architecture appreciation among lay people, students and others associated with the profession.

With Delhi as the backdrop, the film combines peoples views and objective commentary, exploring doubts and misconceptions about the subject - its practice, theory and trends.

Popular Indian film music selected for its references to architecture provides both the punctuation and the link between thematic segments.

The film was made in early 1990s

About  the Director

Iftikhar-mulk Chishti teaches the Theory of Design at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi from where he graduated in 1975. His activities that have included a practice in Design extend to installations, theatre and films - a subject that he studied during a four year long period in Paris in the late seventies.

Prof Chishti will be present to talk about the film.

We would like to invite all Architects, irrespective of you being an IIA member or not to come for event.
