Dear Fellow Architects,
In continuation of the last edition of the monthly discussion forum �Chai Coffee Architecture� held on Jan. 19th 2013, for which the referred document as above was sent to you all along with the information notice by mail, we would like to inform you of the deliberations held.
The Architects present in the deliberations were of the unanimous opinion that for addressing the issue of Sustainability of Built Environment it is worthwhile adding such a Chapter in the National Building Code.
But! at the same time it was also opined that the provisions incorporated and the detailed elaboration are likely to have serious repercussions on the practice of architecture by all of us.
Accordingly, it was decided that the subject needs to be evaluated in more detail after a study of the same by a wider circulation . Hence I am writing to you all once again to evaluate the above draft documents (copy attached) and send your comments in the form as you may so desire latest by Feb. 15th 2013 either on the website http://web.iianc.org or by mail to iianc...@hotmail.com with the subject mentioned above as the mail subject.
All such comments received shall be compiled for detailed deliberations at the next edition of �Chai Coffee Architecture� rescheduled for this purpose for Saturday 5:00 pm, 23rd February, 2013 at the New Committee Room, Planning Block, SPA, New Delhi
Your immediate response is solicited in this endeavor to safeguard the interests of the Profession in times to come.
