It is now time for Session 08 of  �Chai Coffee and Architecture�

Session 08 : 16th March 2013 at 5:30 PM, at New Committee Room, Planning Building, SPA.


TOPIC :

"The Central Vista in New Delhi was always intended by Lutyens to be a place for people.

Of late, not only this very precious recreational open space is slipping out-of-bounds to the common man for reasons of security and public order, it has been ignored by the government to be developed to suit present needs.  We need a holistic approach to make this place, "The Peoples' Place".

How this can be done, what can be done to celebrate this space  and how architects can play a role of its vanguard, shall be the theme of this session. "

The Session will be moderated by Prof Manoj Mathur.

We would like to invite all Architects, irrespective of you being an IIA member or not to come for these discussions.
