International Development Design Summit (IDDS) 2014

MIT D-Lab is organizing the International Development Design Summit (IDDS) this July in Arusha, Tanzania. IDDS is an annual hands-on summit that brings together engineers, designers and technologies from around the world to develop collaborative projects within the local communities. This exploratory summit focuses on problem setting, designing and prototyping product-based ventures for and by communities found in emerging markets.

This year, IDDS is looking to put more emphasis on participants with a background in computer science and electronics. The deadline for participant application is 20th Feb, 2014. (http://iddsummit.org)
