Peaceful Protest in Albany as NYSBA Walks Back COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate Recommendation | 16 June 2020 | Saturday, June 13, was a good day. Several hundred members of the health freedom community gathered peacefully in Albany, New York, to commemorate the first anniversary of the repeal of the religious exemption to vaccination, to protest the proposal of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) to mandate Covid-19 vaccines, and to participate in #ExposeBillGates day... All of the speakers participated, as well as Michael Sussman, the New York lead lawyer appealing the repeal of the religious exemption, and pediatrician Dr. Lawrence Palevsky. The speakers eloquently addressed many issues about the recent lockdown, the NYSBA's proposed mandate, the importance of free exercise of religion and solidarity among people of all political, economic, racial, ethnic and religious communities.

GOP: Sending COVID19 Patients to Nursing Homes 'Ended Up Being a Death Sentence' | 15 June 2020 | A group of Republican members of the House subcommittee on the novel coronavirus crisis sent letters to five Democratic governors requesting answers regarding their directives requiring nursing homes to take in recovering COVID-19 patients that led to thousands of deaths. The group to co-sign onto the letter includes House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, LA; Rep. Jim Jordan, OH; Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer, MO; Rep. Jackie Walorski, IN; and Rep. Mark Green, TN. "The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately affected the elderly, especially those living in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities," the members wrote in the letters. "We write seeking information, at a granular level, about the science and information used to inform your decision to mandate nursing homes and long-term care facilities admit untested and contagious COVID-19 patients from hospitals," the GOP members said. "This decision likely contributed to the thousands of elderly deaths in California. Thank you for your attention and prompt response to this important inquiry."

Steve Scalise Announces Plans to Investigate Governors Who Ordered Nursing Homes to Take in COVID-Positive Patients, asks Democrats to Join Him | 12 June 2020 | On Thursday, in his capacity as ranking member of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis, Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), announced that he will be sending oversight letters to Democratic governors of multiple states who ordered nursing homes to readmit COVID-positive patients, to determine what led up to those disastrous decisions. He also called on Democratic members of the panels to join the effort in a bipartisan fashion.

NYC Contact Tracers Not Permitted to Ask Sick Patients if They Attended a George Floyd Protest | 15 June 2020 | The supposed army of 1,000+ pandemic contact tracers in New York City will hit a roadblock this week as they assess the risk of disease spread from COVID-19 positive patients. Mayor Bill de Blasio has forbidden the tracers from asking sick patients if they attended one of the many George Floyd related protests in the nation's most populous city, giving the tracers an insurmountable barrier as they ostensibly keep New Yorkers safer. "No person will be asked proactively if they attended a protest," de Blasio spokesperson Avery Cohen told The City. Surveyors recruited as part of de Blasio's "test and trace" campaign will instead ask a series of indirect questions about whom the sick individual may have contacted in recent days.

Appeals court says Trump administration can't force drugmakers to disclose prices | 17 June 2020 | A federal appeals court [Judge Patricia Millett] ruled against the Trump administration on Wednesday, finding that it does not have the legal authority to mandate that drug manufacturers display the prices of their medicines in television advertisements. The Associated Press reported that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled unanimously against the administration, finding that the Department of Health and Human Services's rule was unlawful in its scope. The court's ruling is a blow to the White House's efforts to drive down prescription drug prices, a key issue cited by Americans in an election year. White House spokesman Judd Deere fired back in a statement to the AP, accusing the court of being part of the "D.C. Swamp."

Seattle Police Chief: 'We're Not Able to Get to' 911 Calls for 'Rape, Robbery' in Autonomous Zone | 12 June 2020 | The head of the Seattle's Police Department told officers in a video address on Thursday that the decision to abandon the city's Third Precinct to activists was "not my decision," and has prevented the department from responding to emergency calls in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.Police Chief Carmen Best, who joined Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan at a news conference Thursday afternoon, revealed that "ultimately the city had other plans for the building and relented to public pressure." "You should know, leaving the precinct was not my decision," Best told her fellow officers... On Wednesday, the Seattle Police Department said it would try to reopen the East Precinct, and Best was able to visit the location on Thursday. "Our calls for service have more than tripled," she told reporters. "These are responses to emergency calls -- rapes, robberies, and all sorts of violent acts that have been occurring in the area that we're not able to get to."

Leader in Seattle's CHAZ demands white occupiers fork over money to black counterparts --The CHAZ, established on June 8, covers six blocks in downtown Seattle. | 13 June 2020 | A protest leader in Seattle's so-called "Capital Hill Autonomous Zone" demanded on Friday that white occupiers give their non-white counterparts m-ney -- or face retribution, "I want you to find, by the time you leave this autonomous zone, I want you to give $10 to one African American person from this autonomous zone," the man told a crowd... The protest leader went on to subtly threaten the white occupiers by saying that he would remember them. "White people, I see you. I see every one of you, and I remember your faces. You find that African American person and you give them $10," he said. "Do it!"

Protesters burn Atlanta Wendy's where cops fatally shot Rayshard Brooks | 14 June 2020 | Protesters set fire Saturday to the Atlanta Wendy's where, the night before, a black suspect was shot dead as he fired at two white cops with a stolen police Taser. Angry crowds protesting the racially charged shooting of Rayshard Brooks, a 27-year-old father of four from Atlanta, also shut down an interstate highway. Crowds of several hundred had gathered outside the fast-food restaurant all day Saturday, but began breaking windows of the establishment after sunset, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. A fire started inside at around 9:30 pm., according to the paper.

"There's one on my house, and I support putting one on the people's house, too,'' Bronin told about 300 ministers and protesters outside city hall as some in the crowd applauded. Bronin reiterated his call for strengthening the city's Civilian Police Review Board with 200,000 for full-time, permanent staffing and independent investigative powers.

"Over 1M ticket requests for the @realDonaldTrump #MAGA Rally in Tulsa on Saturday," Parscale tweeted Monday, adding safety guidelines for the event. "Before entering, each guest will get: temperature check, hand sanitizer, mask,” Parscale tweeted. “There will be precautions for the heat and bottled water as well." The rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Saturday, June 20, has received the largest number of ticket requests for any of the president's events, the campaign has said.

Facebook takes down Trump campaign ads for 'violating our policy against organized hate' | 18 June 2020 | Facebook [FaCIAbook] on Thursday said it had take action against ads run by President Trump's re-election campaign for breaching its policies on hate. The ads, which attacked what the Trump campaign described as "Dangerous MOBS of far-left groups," featured an upside-down triangle... The ads targeted the far left group Antifa, calling on Trump supporters to back the President's calls to designate the group a terrorist organization. Responding to criticism of the ad earlier Thursday, the Trump campaign said the red triangle was "a symbol widely used by Antifa."

Exposed: Google's Go-To 'Conservative' Influencer List That Claims 'Big Tech Bias Is a Good Thing' | 16 June 2020 | The National Pulse is today publishing a previously undisclosed "go to" list of "conservative" influencers that Big Tech firm Google uses to influence the political dynamics in Washington, D.C. As the battle over Big Tech rages in Western capitals, The National Pulse was provided with an exclusive leak of the list of think tanks and activists who Google lobbyist Max Pappas reached out to on the back of the Federalist/Zero Hedge demonetization story. Pappas -- hired by Google in 2017 -- took Google's damage control messaging to nearly 100 influential figures on the right on Tuesday night. The list (in this article) includes key conservative influencers from major think tanks and publications -- some of whom are believed to be beneficiaries of large Google donations. Featured in the list are high-profile "conservative" organizations which solicit conservatives in the public for donations, all the while promoting Big Tech talking points, and/or taking grants from Big Tech companies which continue to censor conservatives online.

Tucker Carlson bashes Google for action against The Federalist, calls Big Tech 'chief threat to our liberties' | 16 June 2020 | Tucker Carlson blasted Google Tuesday night after NBC News published an article in which a reporter apparently lobbied the search giant to remove two conservative news sites, including the Federalist, from its ad platform over what was deemed offensive coverage of the George Floyd protests and the Black Lives Matter movement. "Most media companies are dependent on Google, who will control 70 percent of all online advertising," the "Tucker Carlson Tonight" host said. "So if you're in the news business, you obey Google. When Google tells you to do something, you do it. You have no choice." ...The host called on Congress to repeal Section 230, saying "if Google will not extend [its] protections to others, Google should not enjoy those protections itself. It's been clear for a very long time that the Big Tech monopolies have now surpassed the federal government as the chief threat to our liberties," Carlson said. "Google is acting directly to shape what people can say and what they're allowed to speak. It's a direct effort to stifle free speech."

PG&E pleads guilty to 84 deaths in 2018 Camp Fire | 16 June 2020 | PG&E has confessed to killing 84 people in the devastating 2018 Camp Fire that wiped out the Northern California town of Paradise in November 2018. PG&E CEO Bill Johnson entered guilty pleas Tuesday on behalf of the company for 84 felony counts of involuntary manslaughter stemming from the fire, which was blamed on the company's crumbling electrical grid... Although the admission was part of a plea deal, it came during a dramatic court hearing designed to publicly shame the nation's largest utility for neglecting its infrastructure. PG&E also pleaded guilty to one felony county of unlawfully starting a fire.

Supreme Court makes historic ruling on LGBT employment discrimination | 15 June 2020 | The Supreme Court ruled Monday that a landmark civil rights law protects LGBT people from discrimination in employment, a resounding victory for LGBT rights from a conservative court. The court decided by a 6-3 vote that a key provision of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 known as Title VII that bars job discrimination because of sex, among other reasons, encompasses bias against LGBT workers. Justices Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh and Clarence Thomas dissented.

85-year-old security guard shot and killed in his car | 15 June 2020 | An 85-year-old security guard was shot and killed as he sat in his car outside an apartment complex, Mississippi authorities said Monday. Multiple shots were fired at David Herring and it appears that one hit him, though a full autopsy is pending, Madison County Coroner Alex Breeland told the Clarion Ledger. The shooting was "absolutely a homicide," he said. Days earlier, a 77-year-old Simpson County sheriff's deputy was shot and killed while taking a man to a mental hospital.

Amy Klobuchar withdraws as potential Biden running mate, urges 'woman of color' VP nod | 19 June 2020 | Vice President Amy Klobuchar is not in the cards. The Minnesota senator withdrew her name from the list of possible running mates Thursday night, reasoning that Democratic nominee Joe Biden should use the "moment to put a woman of color" on his ticket... Klobuchar's decision reflects the weeks of civil unrest across the country and globe following the police killing of George Floyd in her home state. She had initially resisted dropping out from vice president considerations after Floyd’s killing brought fresh scrutiny of her criminal justice record when she served as a prosecutor in Hennepin County. There she had failed to get charges brought against Derek Chauvin -- the police officer who was seen with his knee on Floyd's neck -- for a separate incident of fatally shooting another man.
