Subject: [Fremont Students Going Green] Executive council position openings!

Hello everyone,
First of all, thanks to everyone who came to the party--it was really nice to meet up for fun and play some games together! Also, as you may know the FIERCE group has so far been headed by an "executive council" that consists of one representative per school. Unfortunately, this makes a council of 5, and since there are always 2-3 people who can't make exec. council meetings that leaves 2 people at the meeting who have to guess what the other 3 committees are doing. In short, it's not working.
However, we do like the idea of a group of students who can lead the rather large FIERCE group, and so we've decided to change the way executive council works and to invite any FIERCE member who is interested in playing a larger role in leading the group to join. You do not need to have any club officer or similar position at your school; dedication to FIERCE is all that's required. Attached is an application form; if you are interested please fill it out and send it to the current executive council members (see below) by July 1st at the latest for evaluation.
Please reply as soon as possible as we'd like to meet up over the summer to get ready for the next school year! (The deadline is July 1st but promptness in response is always a good quality for council members :) ) Since we will (hopefully) have a good deal of new members once the school year starts, we need a strong group of "veterans" who know how FIERCE works and can help the group get off to a rapid start next year.

Hope to hear from you soon!
Julien Malard
Publicity committee

P.S. Please send applications to: Myra Espinoza <myra.esp...@gmail.com>; Jasper Lin <Bball...@gmail.com>; Janis Chan <jcmon...@gmail.com>; Victoria Cheung <thedanc...@gmail.com>; julien...@yahoo.com
