htaccess file missing

What can I do to put back htaccess file into pages folder.I tried to chmod 755 but still I couldn't get the result.The files found in pages folder are

config.values.php

htaccess.TEMPLATE

index.php

Rename htaccess.TEMPLATE  to .htaccess
