David Thomas and Valerie Johnson, 'Does Digital Change Anything'

Institute of Historical Research Seminar in Digital History

Venue: ST276 (Stewart House, second floor) and streamed live on the web at historyspot.org.uk

Time: Tuesday, November 15, 5.15 pm GMT

David Thomas and Valerie Johnson will be discussing the archival implications of the shift to digital, as well as the question of whether, despite over £100 million investment by government in digital resources, it is possible to do large-scale digitally-based research in the humanities. They will explore what needs to be done to ensure that digitally-based humanities research becomes and remains viable in the future.
