This coming Thursday we are having the bank-money-savings playgroup
and Lara is in charge. Thank you Lara!!! Let me know if you need help.

This coming Thursday we are also going to have at our playgroup the
service of Free Developmental Screenings by Encompass. This is
optional, you don't have to do it if you don't want to. But it's a
good tool in case you want to know about the development of your
infant, toddler, or preschooler. You can have it done anytime during
the playgroup.

We will have the manager of the program and a speech therapist from
Encompass, they will screen children from age 3 months to 5 years old.
Screenings will take just 10 minutes per child. The screening is a
parent questionnaire.

Results will be available immediately. Parents will come away with a
list of recommendations regarding motor, speech, self-help, social and
cognitive skills. This is a prime opportunity to learn more about your
child from the Encompass multi-disciplinary team of therapists and
other staff experts.
