Construction activities are currently permitted to start at 7am
weekdays, 9am weekends.

If unreasonable construction activities are taking place (ex. too
dusty, or starting before 7am), please contact Christine Shaff, UC
Berkeley Facilities Services, at 643-4793 or csh...@berkeley.edu.

Upon doing so, please log the time and summary of your complaint on
this page (or email me). As of Jan 26, Christine has only heard from
one resident. I House Council and Staff hope that residents become
more vocal, and organized, about this topic if it continues to be a
problem.

This morning at 9am (February 13) all kinds of muddy water was pouring
out of the construction site. They need to apply a SWPPP (storm water
pollution prevention plan).

(Possibly unrelated) In addition, there is always a big pile of mud at
the bottom of the handicapped ramp in front of I-House. This makes it
really difficult for people who need to use the ramp. Can they fill in
the pavement so the mud doesn't collect there?
