Beginning Monday, June 4th, 2012 Genesis to Jesus, the foundational study of the St. Paul Center's Journey Through Scripture parish-based Bible study programs is being presented in Williamston, MI.
Journey Through Scripture is a dynamic, parish-based Bible study series incorporating live presentation, multimedia, small group discussion and some outside reading. It’s a way for ordinary Catholics to grow in their knowledge of the Scriptures and deepen their understanding of the riches of the Catholic faith.
The Holy Father regularly quotes St. Jerome's famous dictum that ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ. If you've ever wondered what the Bible is all about but didn't know where to start, "Genesis to Jesus" is for you. It looks at all of the covenants that God made with his people through figures such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and David. And it shows how each of these covenants points forward to, and is fulfilled by, Christ and his Church.

'Genesis to Jesus' will begin on Monday evenings from 7:00 pm ~ 8:30 pm June 4th, 2012 until Monday, July 16th 2012 in St. Joseph Hall [for 7 weeks only] at St. Mary Catholic Church (157 High Street ~ Williamston, MI 48895). Lessons run consecutively so please try and make the first session to receive your participant workbook. Additional resource material by Dr. Hahn "A Father who Keeps His Promises" can be purchased through the presenter at a discounted rate.
