Grants:

- 57 Million Pak Rupee per Year Funding Opportunity
for Human Rights Organizations in Pakistan - An international donor agency is
inviting proposals from human rights NGOs in selected countries (including
Pakistan) for possible funding of maximum 57 million rupees per year. Last date
to apply is 5 February 2016.
- US$ 200,000 to 10,000,000 for Projects on
IDPs in Pakistan - An international funding organization is inviting proposals
from NGOs in Pakistan to undertake projects for IDPs and communities affected
by armed conflict. Pakistan is among the few eligible countries for this
funding. NGOs in Pakistan can apply for minimum funding of US$ 200,000 for
three years project. For large funding, groups and consortium of NGOs may apply
for maximum US$ 10,000,000 or ten million dollars for five years projects. Last
date to apply through online forms is 28 February 2016.
- Funding Opportunity for Women Journalists
- An international organization is inviting project proposals from women
journalists around the world for possible funding. There is no restriction of
budget limit. Pakistani female journalists are eligible to send their ideas for
funding. Last date to apply is 15 February 2016.
- US$ 5000 Travel Grants for Journalists -
An international media support organization is inviting proposals from working
journalists in TV, newspaper, radio or web to provide maximum grants of US$
5000 for travel. Women journalists are encouraged to apply. The grant aims to
support journalists for reporting projects that they wish to undertake but
couldn't due to financial constraints. Last date to apply is 15 February 2016.
- 15 Million Rupees Funding Opportunity for
Pakistani NGOs Registered in UK - A funding organization is inviting proposals
from NGOs to provide grants of maximum 15 million Pak rupees for development
projects. NGOs in Pakistan that are registered in UK as charities can
especially benefit from this opportunity. Last date to apply is 25 February
2016.
- US$ 4000 Grant for Language Conservationists
- An international organization is inviting proposals from language experts to
undertake activities that preserve and protect endangered languages.
Researchers and linguists in Pakistan that are working on preservation of dying
cultures and languages can apply for this grant. Last date to submit proposals
is 5 April 2016.
- Ten Thousand US Dollars Competitive Grants Announced
for Small Community-based Projects - A US-based foundation is inviting
proposals from community groups and small NGOs around the world to submit
proposals in the area of Civic Participation, Education, Effective Development,
Environmental Mediation – Water, Sanitation, Deforestation, Health Care Access
and Treatment, Human Rights, Peace and Human Security, Shelter, Smallholder
Productivity and Food Security, and Sustainable Markets/Livelihoods. This is a
good opportunity for small-scale organizations having limited funding history.
Last date to submit online proposals is 25 June 2016.
Scholarship/Fellowship

- An international research organization is
inviting nominations from journalists around the world to apply for travel
grants for participation in its upcoming conference in Europe. Journalists in
Pakistan are eligible to apply for up to 1,20,000 Pak rupee equivalent support
for travel, accommodation and meals. Last date to submit nominations is 28
February 2016.
- Fellowship for Young Journalists to Travel to New
York - An international agency is inviting nominations from young journalists
(less than 35 years age) in print, TV and radio to apply for fully funded
fellowships. Selected journalists will get support for international air
travel, stay, local transportation, meals and other expenditure in New York.
Last date to send nominations is 15 March 2015.
Networking Opportunities:

- Opportunity for Youth to Join International
Network on Reproductive Health Rights as Local Representative - Maximum age 29
years. Understanding of reproductive health issues, policies and global
agreements is necessary. Selected candidates may get support for participation
in regional and global conferences and training events. Last date to send
nominations is 8 February 2016.
