Hello everyone! Work items are light for 2 of the 3 Domains this week, so we have opted for an email update in lieu of a Joint Meeting. Please feel free to respond to this thread with updates on your Domains for this week.

Sponsor Updates:

HIMSS Annual Conference

  • HIMSS held their Annual Conference in Chicago, IL last week which had over 35,000 attendees – whew! Check out our website for more info on IHE’S presence at Conference.
  • I especially want to call out a few folks who participated in the IHE Learning Lab, a space dedicated to highlighting the important work done by IHE and our strategic partners.
    • The lounge-like area welcomed attendees to sit, chat, and engage in important conversations on interoperability, and featured eight short presentations throughout the week (see more info here).
    • We were able to feature the Radiology and Devices Domains, and our own Derek Ritz gave a compelling presentation on Digital Health and how IHE Profiles (highlighting PCC and QRPH!) are essential to promoting better outcomes and encouraging interoperability. Well done, Derek!
    • Two of our fearless leaders, John Moehrke and Andrea Fourquet, jumped in during a session highlighting the ONC Cooperative Agreement with IHE USA and gave important updates on that project. Well done, John and Andrea!

IHE North American Connectathon

  • Held last month in Austin, TX the IHE NA Connectathon hosted 121 attendees from 47 organizations for both IHE Testing and 3 days of additional educational programming and workshops.
  • Through a challenging first day after facing connectivity issues, our participants came together, buckled down, and finished a successful week of testing! Well done to all attendees and THANK YOU to our Monitors and Speakers!

Thanks to everyone for your hard work this week, and remember to please reply to this thread with your Domain updates should you have any.

Thanks!
