ANNOUNCEMENT - July Face-to-Face Meeting moving to Virtual

Hello IHE Community! Thank you for your patience while I work with HIMSS on what is possible regarding the support of an in-person meeting for the Quarterly Face-to-Face meetings, particularly for the July 2023 Meeting scheduled to be held in Frankfurt, Germany. We have unfortunately decided to move this meeting to virtual and will not be meeting in Germany this summer. While it would have been wonderful to see everyone in Europe, HIMSS is unable to support an international meeting for this group at this time.

 

If there is enough interest in still meeting in-person in Oak Brook, I am happy to coordinate with RSNA and see what is possible.

Hi Gregorio! I am working with RSNA to see if they have availability and if they would allow meetings to occur without a staff member (myself) onsite. I will get back to you once I have more info!

Hi Sarah,

is there still the chance to meet in-person in Oak-brook in July? if so can we make a poll to understand who is willing to meet in -person and therefore decide what to do?

We think that, even if virtual meetings were proficient and during these past years worked well, meeting in-person can have an added value, promoting people to put more effort on profiling and reducing distractions due to daily workload.

For people, like us, that live in another timezone meeting  in person can also promote full day participation.

Sarah and ITI-Tech committee members,

As we approach the next ITI-Tech meeting, and given that Sarah has been able to arrange for RSNA physical location, I am interested in determining who will be traveling to Chicago for this meeting vs attending virtually. I have heard from people who intend to attend virtually. So I am worried that the meeting room in Chicago may not be needed, or hold only a few people. It seems best to understand this situation early.

I live close enough that I could attend physically, but only for the first 3 days. I would prefer to attend virtually the whole week.

Dear PCC/QRPH members, we would like to have a discussion on the various 360X related projects. In particular:

• the 360X-SD profile has volume 1 almost complete, with a new twist that we would like to discuss
• Proposal for a 360X-HH supplement for Home Health referrals
• Review the status of 360X-L and 360X-LE
• Move 360X to final text

 

Most of the participants will be remote, however, and we are determining which two two-hour slots will fit most interested parties.
