Hello Pittsburgh Lovers - Just wanted to send along some information about an important event
Tomorrow (Thursday) the League of Young Voters is hosting a forum on Transportation with Dan
Onorato at the Union Project. 
This is an excellent opportunity to learn about transportation in
our region and plans for the future.  All are welcome to attend.
I have also included some details for the Next Urban Hike, which is this Saturday.

Thursday, July 13th
The Union Project, 801 N. Negley Avenue , Highland Park -

Schedule of Events:
6:30-7 PM: Special guest DJ spinning.  Come early to mingle and snack.
7:15 PM: Regional Director of the League of Young Voters, Khari Mosley, to introduce County

Executive Dan Onorato.   Onorato to brief the audience.
7:45-8:15 PM: Question and answer session facilitated by Khari Mosley
8:15- 8:30 PM: Closing remarks, program ends.

How do you move around Pittsburgh?
County Executive Dan Onorato is briefing the Pittsburgh League of Young Voters and our partner

organizations on his transportation vision and forthcoming white paper.

We want the plans to reflect what young people think...It's our city and our transit system. 
All are welcome to attend

Check out Urban Hike this weekend..
a hike through the Upper Hill and Polish Hill (with a little bit of Oakland thrown in for good

measure).  We’ll visit a historic bank, get a great 360-degree view of the city,
and hear about some budding Scorseses.  Meet us in front of Schenley High
School on Centre Avenue.
