Hey Jackie,

Sorry, maybe I didn't include you somehow in my explanation email. I'm doing this through AMSA (American Medical Student Assoc). There are two student panels for lunch Wednesday and Friday, in 114 and 316 respectively. If you're interested in presenting summer work, please pick one (or both) days to come and talk about what you've done.

Thanks,
Jason

Hey Jackie,

Sorry for the lack of claification, first time through organizing events like this. Essentially I want the second year students to serve as an aid to first year's in finding worth-while summer projects. For the student panels, my hope is people (2nd years) come to give a 5 minute talk on what they did, how they liked it, etc and maybe offer some contact information or foundation for first years who want to pursue something similar. Sally emailed me back saying she was in Haiti, but hoped that someone from your crew who talk. If you're willing to do it that would be great. Please let me know what day you'd like to come (you can do both if you'd like) and if there's anything else I can clarify.

See ya tomorrow,
Jason

Hey Jason,

Would you like to present at this event (not sure what event it is exactly)?  I'd be happy to, just give me a few more details.  Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving!

Cheers,
Jackie

Hey Jason,

Thanks for including me. Unfortunately I will be in Haiti this week, I would still love to have our summer in Haiti talked about (if possible). Maybe Jackie can do it instead?

Let us know,
THANKS

Hey Guys and Girls,

First of all, thank you for the robust response I got when I asked for some summer medical experiences from you all some time ago. There are a lot of you on this list and all have great experiences that I would love the first years to hear about. Here is my hope in terms of organizing and presenting you to the first year class.
I've spent the last month or so trying to get some docs to come in and talk about international work experiences to the first years. Originally they were going to be one each Wednesday and Thursday this coming week, followed hopefully by a student panel Friday. As of now they would both like to present jointly on Thursday.  That has left Wednesday and Friday open. So my hope now is to have the talks sandwich in between two student panels. This will give the docs coming what they would like and get as many of your awesome experiences out there to the first years as possible.
So, long story short, my hope is to have you all split as evenly as possible between Wednesday and Friday. You would just need to give a few minute schpel about what you did, hopefully provide some contact information for the first years who are interested, and field questions. If you're at all interested I would really appreciate your participaition.  It will be a good chance for you to show off what you've been up to, get a free lunch, and help the first years find their way through the possibilities for their final summer.
Finally, if you know someone else who would be interested, please feel free to fill them in.

Thanks so much,
Jason
