The Radiological Society of North America has established a Radiology Reporting Committee with the goal of implementing more uniform and technologically advanced methods for reporting. The committee, co-chaired by Drs. Curtis Langlotz and Charles Kahn, will work across the radiological subspecialties to develop standard templates for diagnostic reporting of common imaging procedures.
The committee intends to work closely with industry in developing these templates in order to encourage their adoption in radiology reporting systems. A first step will be the Industry Form on Radiology Reporting, scheduled for Tuesday, May 19 at RSNA headquarters in Oak Brook, IL.

They will be asked to show how their systems generate reports, the content and structure of those reports and the methods provided for creating and managing report templates.
Interested companies are asked to send operational reporting systems and company representatives knowledgeable in the technical details of their operation. RSNA will provide counter space, electrical power and network connections for each system.
