Important Message Regarding IHE Radiology Committee Meeting Social Dinners

Dear Members of the IHE Radiology Technical and Planning Committees,
As we prepare for the profile development kickoff meeting this November, we have to address a change to one important aspect of our in-person gatherings: the group dinners.
RSNA, as the proud sponsor of the IHE Radiology domain, has long supported these productive meetings and remains committed to facilitating your vital work. Historically, that included covering the cost of social dinners during these events. However, to be mindful of our financial stewardship and in order to sustain our sponsoring role, RSNA will no longer be able to fund social dinners moving forward.
We will continue to provide meeting space, breakfasts, lunches, and snacks to support your work during the day. Any evening social gatherings or meals will, however, now be the responsibility of individual attendees. This aligns our practices with those of other standards development organizations you may participate in.
We sincerely appreciate your continued dedication and contributions to IHE Radiology, and we look forward to a successful and collaborative meeting ahead.

Hi Jamie,
Just wanted to express sincere thanks to RSNA (and its Staff!) for kindly hosting a social group dinner during meeting weeks over the many years. They were (as you’ll see if you look back at the pictures) greatly appreciated by all who attended. 😊 But we also recognize that such events go above and beyond expectations on an SDO Secretariat.
We all look forward to the continued wonderful staff support and facilities that RSNA provides for the meetings themselves as sponsors of IHE Radiology. We really couldn’t do it without you.
