IHE Radiology Call for Proposals/White Papers Open Through August 5, 2022

Dear IHE Community,

 

Interested parties are invited to submit proposals/White Papers for new profiles in IHE Radiology.  These proposals will be considered for development in the 2022-2023 cycle of the IHE Radiology Domain.

 

Proposals should be entered on the wiki using the Profile Proposal template, or if necessary, use the attached Brief Proposal Template and address:

 

1.      What is the problem and how does it look in practice (use case)?

2.      How should things look in practice if it were fixed?

3.      What specific standards could be used to solve the problem, if known?

 

It is strongly recommended that the proposal include the name of a candidate editor for the profile should it be selected for development.

 

If possible, give some indication of the business case for solving the problem (e.g., quantify the cost).

 

Proposals are due by midnight Central Time, August 5, 2022.

 

Proposals may be either:

 

1. Entered on the IHE Radiology Wiki at https://wiki.ihe.net/index.php/Radiology_Proposals_2022-2023#Brief_Proposals using the Profile Proposal template.
2. Emailed to i...@ihe.net using the attached template.

 

The Radiology Planning Committee will select a “short list” of proposals for detailed consideration on August 10th.  Detailed proposals for the “short list” will be due August 24^th. Final selection of the profiles will occur September 26^th. Please visit the Wiki for detailed information about the IHE Radiology schedule.

 

If your profile proposal is accepted, all authors and editors need to be members of an IHE International member organization. Please apply for membership at https://www.ihe.net/participate/join_ihe/. Contact membe...@ihe.net if you have additional questions.
