PML diagnosis

Hi

when we validate a PML in gazelle that has diagnosis component

, the compiler geneates the following error:

However, the same structure is accepted in PRE CDA

Any idea how can we include prescription diagnosis in PML?

Hello Ibaa,

The PML is defined as the grouping of MTP, PRE, DIS and PADV components into the "HISTORY OF MEDICATION USE" component, while PRE allows additional components to be included aside the PRESCRIPTIONS component. That's why the PML validator in Gazelle does not accept your diagnosis component in the PML.

Allowing it will imply a modification of the PML profile --> you shoud make a formal change request to IHE Pharmacy to allow it.
